Error 1001: Install Error:Transaction Manager is not available.(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D01B)

Hello all,

I have been trying to install a plugin to work with a program. The OS is Windows 10 Home. The plugin requires that I download their application framework 3.0 before I can complete the installation. Hello all,

For some reason, every time I try to install the framework 3.0 I get this error message: Error 1001: Install Error:Transaction Manager is not available.(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D01B) I have tried absolutely every thing I can think of to solve this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jim,

Not sure I fully understand the problem. What is it that you are trying to install? What is the plugin you are referring to? Can you send some screenshots?
