Failed Messages appearing under Monitoring but don't appear in the list

One of our endpoints shows 4 failed messages on the monitoring tab, but when the envelope is clicked on, it just says “There are currently no message failures”

Is this a bug?

The mismatch between the badge number and the actual messages is probably being caused by an index that is stale.

We’ve just released ServiceControl 4.17 which introduces a custom check for stale/disabled indexes.
If you’re not making use of the full-text search capability in ServiceInsight, I would also recommend disabling the full-text index (only available in ServiceControl 4.17).
