I happened to run across this epic on Microsoft’s backlog around an event framework. I appears other OSS libraries similar to NServiceBus are not to thrilled with it. I was curious on what the NServiceBus folks thought of Microsoft’s plan and how that could affect NServiceBus in the future (if at all).
We’re in close contact with the folks at Microsoft and the other OSS contributors to explore various “better together” collaborations that will help the ecosystem continue to flourish with multiple solutions taking different approaches and catering to different levels of complexity.
In the coming weeks, we understand that Microsoft will be sharing some more details publicly on the “eventing framework” issue, so stay tuned!
