How to know if you are affected
Anyone using NServiceBus.Azure.Transports.WindowsAzureServiceBus transport version 7 and above and using a custom Security Token Service to secure their Azure Service Bus namespace
Symptoms
Allow connection string without credentials for custom STS
The connectionstring validation does not allow the format “Endpoint=sb://[namespace name].servicebus.windows.net/” without credentials.
Should you upgrade immediately
You should upgrade immediately if you are using version 7 or above and experiencing one of the listed issues.
