How to know if you are affected
You are affected if you have enabled auditing and configured an audit message expiration with EndpointConfiguration.AuditProcessedMessagesTo(queue, TimeSpan). The transport did not apply that expiration to messages held in the audit queue, so it kept them indefinitely instead of removing them.
Symptoms
Memory usage grows with the volume of audited messages and can eventually cause the process to run out of memory. Audited messages were never removed from the in-memory audit queue, even though an expiration was configured.
When to upgrade
You should upgrade immediately if you are affected. Otherwise, you should upgrade during your next maintenance window.
