Yes, I suspect the following line in the consumer app is causing the fact it gets pushed onto the Audit queue (which is what is should do, right?)
- endpointConfiguration.AuditProcessedMessagesTo(“xxx.Servicecontrol.Audit”);

Please let me know if this is enough information and if you know if something is wrong with the configuration or not.
About the sidenote, good to know! Then I will have a closer look at what is done with each part of configuration - heartbeats, metrics and auditing.
