How to know if you are affected
You are affected if you are using the SQL Server transport and you attempt to retry a failed message.
Symptoms
A message (or message group) retry operation hangs while messages are being sent for retry. The retry operation won’t progress unless ServiceControl is restarted. These retries getting stuck is not deterministic.
Should you upgrade immediately
There is no urgency in upgrading, however, upgrading makes the retry operation much more reliable.
