How to know if you’re affected
You are effected if you see errors in ServiceControl starting with following message
System.Text.RegularExpressions.RegexMatchTimeoutException: The RegEx engine has timed out while trying to match a pattern to an input string
Symptoms
Messages which processing failures were caused by exceptions containing very long and complex messages (e.g. containg fragments for JSON or XML) are not imported to ServiceControl.
Should you upgrade immediately
You should upgrade immediately if you experience the symptoms. Otherwise you should upgrade during the next service window.
