We’ve just released ServiceControl 4.10.2 which resolves the issue of audit instances not able to start when configuring the Windows Service to run under the Local Service account.
Note: Upgrading from 4.9.0 or later might result in an UnauthorizedAccessException due to locked files as the service is still running in the background. It is advised to stop the service and wait 30 seconds for the Windows Service Control Manager to kill the instance or to manually kill it before selecting to upgrade.
