ServiceControl 4.12.0 - Minor release available

Hi everyone,

We’ve just released ServiceControl 4.12, which fixes several bugs, and includes performance improvements that will enable ServiceControl to run more efficiently and reliably under heavy audit load.

Fixed bugs

  • #2019 Clean up FailedMessageRetries to prevent them from growing indefinitely

  • #2018 Clean up RetryOperations/History to prevent it from growing indefinitely

  • #2100 Allow fetching of body for messages with a backslash in the message id

  • #2112 Allow upgrading versions of ServiceControl with databases that are likely to have stale indexes

  • #1945 ServiceControl Audit no longer crashes after version store reaches maximum size

  • #2019 Fix retrieval of bodies larger than the large object heap but below the maximum body size to store

Features

  • #2059 Add API to report disconnected endpoint count to ServiceControl.Monitoring

  • #2013 Add a more helpful exception message when the FailedQ header is missing

  • #2106 Batch audit ingestion

You should upgrade immediately only if you are affected by one of the bugs listed above. Otherwise we recommend to upgrade during the next maintenance window.
