We’ve just released ServiceControl 4.20.1.
- #2598 Non-UTF-8 compatible message bodies are not stored correctly and cannot be retried
You are affected if you are using ServiceControl version 4.17.0 or later and use message bodies that are not compatible with UTF-8.
When a message with a body which is not compatible with UTF-8 is retried using ServicePulse, the body of the retried message is corrupted, and does not represent the body of the original failed message.
You should upgrade immediately if you are affected. Otherwise, you can upgrade during your next maintenance window.
You can download the new version of ServiceControl from our website.
