- #1737 Responses returned from Audit instances are not decompressed resulting in corrupt visualization in ServiceInsight due to malformed aggregation response
How to know if you’re affected
You are affected if you are using ServiceControl audit instances and you are viewing audit messages in ServiceInsight that are larger then 4kb.
Symptoms
Viewing the body in ServiceInsight does not show the JSON or XML but a binary data structure with the start signature 1F 3F 08 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 3F 3F when looking in the HEX view.
Should you upgrade immediately
This is no critical issue as message bodies are stored correctly and this is only a visualization issue. Upgrade ServiceControl instances when convenient if affected by this issue.
Please note that ServiceInsight needs to be restarted as it might still be caching invalid bodies received earlier.
