We’ve just released ServiceControl 4.5.1.
This release adds support for the latest version of the SQL Server transport. SQL Server transport version 5 introduces a native publish/subscribe mechanism and a compatibility mode to ensure interoperability with endpoints running on older versions of the transport.
This release of of ServiceControl publishes integration events using the new native publish/subscribe mechanism. This allows endpoints running on the latest version of the SQL Transport to subscribe to ServiceControl integration events.
This release of ServiceControl also enables the message-driven publish/subscribe compatibility mode included in version 5 of the SQL Server transport. This allows endpoints running on older versions of the SQL Transport to subscribe to ServiceControl integration events.

Should you upgrade immediately
You should upgrade during the next available change window. If upgrading ServiceControl is not possible but an endpoint needs to receive ServiceControl events, enable the compatibility mode in the endpoint. In the compatibility mode the endpoint will subscribe using both the old and the new mechanism.
