How to know if you are affected
You are affected if you use version 6.10.0 of the Particular.ServiceControl.Management PowerShell module.
Symptoms
When executing any of the cmdlets provided by the PowerShell module, the following error is observed:
Could not load file or assembly 'ServiceControlInstaller.Engine, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Uncaught exception during type initialization. (0x80131534)
When to upgrade
You should upgrade immediately if you are affected. Otherwise, you should upgrade during your next maintenance window.
