Hi everyone,
We’ve just released ServiceControl 6.17.0.
Improvements/Features
- #5549 Update dependency Particular.ServicePulse.Core to 2.8.1
- #5545 [Usage Reporting] Collect 90 days of data from Azure Service Bus the first time a queue is seen
- #5544 [Usage Reporting] Collect 365 days of data from SQS the first time a queue is seen
- #5532 Provide monthly throughput values to the licensing API
- #5529 Provide licensed endpoint information to SP when available in the license file
Fixed bugs
- #5550 Integrated ServicePulse disabled during upgrade via ServiceControl Management
- #5516 Usage report calculates negative endpoint throughput after queue table deletion
- #5280 Monitoring Reader role lacks permissions for queue statistics after upgrade to 6.7.4
How to know if you are affected
You are affected by:
- #5550 if you have integrated ServicePulse enabled when upgrading to 6.16 or below.
- #5516 if your ServiceControl instance is running on PostgreSQL transport and you remove an endpoint table.
- #5280 if your ServiceControl instance is running on Azure Service Bus transport.
Symptoms
For #5550, the integrated ServicePulse is silently disabled during an upgrade.
For #5516, after deleting a queue table from the PostgreSQL database, generated usage reports contain negative throughput numbers.
For #5280 ServiceControl is not able to read monitoring data with the minimal permission set.
When to upgrade
You should upgrade immediately if you are affected. Otherwise, you should upgrade during your next maintenance window.
