ServiceControl 6.7.4 Very Slow After Upgrade from 4.33.0 – CPU 100% on Pagination

Hello,

I recently upgraded our ServiceControl instance from v4.33.0 to v6.7.4, and since the upgrade, we are experiencing severe performance issues:

  • CPU spikes to 100% even for simple pagination in ServiceInsight.

  • ServiceControl logs report “low memory”, despite having plenty of RAM.

I have verified:

  • RavenDB admin port is accessible (http://localhost:33366/admin/stats) and ServiceControl is alive.

  • /metrics endpoint is not available (expected for this version).

  • CPU spikes happen even with very few queries and small data sets.

I suspect this might be a performance regression in v6.7.4, but I don’t really know why. With and without IIS, it has no changes in performance. Restart the machine and only start the needed Particular software works fine for less than 1 minute, then start being slow again.

Questions:

  1. Is there a known CPU/performance issue in ServiceControl v6.7.4 when upgrading from 4.x versions?

  2. Are there recommended settings or hotfixes to reduce CPU usage?

Thank you in advance for your help.
