ServiceControl upgrade and Server move

I’m preparing to move Service Control from one server to another (Same OS on both) and looking to upgrade from SC 4.12.0 to 4.18.0

Is it ok to do both simultaneously? and is there a specific order it should be done in?

I’d recommend upgrading first and then move the SC instance as a separate step. Doing this simultaneously is riskier and will cause you a lot more effort for investigation in case something goes wrong.

Please make sure to look closely at our documentation on migrating SC to a new host.
