ServicePulse 2.2.0 – Minor release available

Hi everyone,

We’ve just released ServicePulse 2.2.0.

Improvements/Features

  • #2580 Included two new options for the endpoint type selection under the usage area screens
  • #2593 Updating link to filters documentation

Fixed bugs

  • #2566 The message view back button does not return to the correct tab when navigating back to the failed messages area
  • #2511 No indication given when too-large audit message bodies were not stored

How to know if you are affected

You are affected by 2566 if

  • You navigate to a failed message from the failed message group page and then use the back button

You are affected by 2511 if

  • You audit messages bigger than the ServiceControl body limit and then examine these messages in ServicePulse

Symptoms

For 2566, when navigating to a failed message from the failed message group page, the back button returns to the global list of messages.

For 2511, messages with no body (e.g. due to the body being larger than the configured max size for audit persistence) do not show any indicator that the body wasn’t saved.

When to upgrade

You should upgrade immediately if you are affected. Otherwise, you should upgrade during your next maintenance window.

Where to get it

You can download the new version of ServicePulse from our website or Docker Hub.

With thanks,
The team in Particular
